Thornhill Junk Pt 1

This is the first part of a series of photos that were taken on location during a film shoot. During downtime I was able to snap some shots of the building and surrounding junk piles, which also happened to be the home to numerous stray cats.

Nudie and the Turks

It was a real treat to walk down the stairs at the Dakota Tavern the other night to be greeted by the sounds of Nudie and the Turks. The band was ripping through some classic country covers, and spicing up the set list with their own original creations, and I had to do a double take when I heard this guy sing. He sounds a little like Stompin' Tom every now and then, and why not, the band hails from the greatest of our smallest province, PEI (also the home of Mr. Connors)
I hope you enjoy the photos, and you can check the band out for yourself on their website HERE, and listen to some of their songs on their myspace page HERE

Deadly serious business

This fiddle man was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

This was some sort of stompin' drum machine device to simulate a bass drum.

Good Night
